Enquiries and quotations

This website invites enquiries; it does not take online orders or payments. An enquiry does not create a contract. Before you agree work, we will provide a written quotation identifying the legal trader, contact address, scope, materials, total price including applicable VAT and unavoidable charges, payment stages, proposed timings and relevant cancellation information. Any amount that cannot be fixed in advance will have its calculation method explained. Changes to the scope or price require your agreement.

Your statutory rights

Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their agreed purpose. Information about the service that you rely on may form part of the contract. Where applicable, remedies include repeat performance, a price reduction, repair, replacement or refund. Nothing on this website excludes or limits your statutory rights, liability for fraud, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Deposits and guarantees

Any deposit, payment schedule and cancellation terms will be explained before agreement. Cancellation charges must be lawful and fair; deposits are not automatically non-refundable. Any additional guarantee will be supplied in writing with its provider, duration, coverage, exclusions and claim procedure. It is additional to your statutory rights.

Permissions and site conditions

The quotation will identify who obtains any required planning, highway or other permissions. Dropped-kerb work requires highway authority permission and any contractor approval required by that authority. No approval or permission is implied by this website. Drainage, access, boundaries and utilities must be assessed before work starts.
